About Us

The North Metro Miracle League provides supportive programming for children, youth, and adults with disabilities focused on healthier, more active lifestyles, social competence, and emotional well-being. Disability is a family affair. We proactively acknowledge, include, and support parents and siblings.

Our Programs Include

Family Support – We have developed an extensive database of resources and support services open and available to our families. The database includes doctors, lawyers, dentists, therapists, veterinarians, CPAs, and tax accountants. There are also experts to help families work their way through the maze of Medicare, SSDI, Medicaid, and Peach Care applications and waivers.

Social Events, Field Trips, Sports & Entertainment Venues – First, it’s fun and often something many families cannot afford, especially at today’s prices. And lots of families know each other, so the group experience makes it even better. But here’s the rest of the story -These events are Experiential Learning at a very high level: (MORE COMPLEX SOCIAL ENVIRONMENTS), crowds, noise, hustle and bustle, loud music, and cheering crowds. All of this would be overwhelming for many because of the flood of stimuli, and in the beginning, sometimes it is overwhelming. But when the child enters this environment with family and teammates, coaches, able-bodied siblings, and their buddies from camp or baseball, they move inside a comfort zone of friendship and trust.

Miracle League Conservation Initiative –

Saving pollinators (*butterflies and honey bees).
Help us restore their food source.
Milkweed is the perfect food for every stage of development.

The North Metro Miracle League provides supportive programming for children, teens, and young adults focused on healthier, more active lifestyles, social competence, and overall emotional well-being. Special needs or not, we are prepared to lead this initiative, so join us, “let’s grow together”.
